Gentlemen,
In response to your emails, texts and calls as to what "You Said Was Important" - I have listed those things below . . . . . .
Reaching the Next Generation . . . . . . . this was the most asked about topic - finding
ways to connect with them in their journey as
they live-out their faith
Dealing with Addictions . . . . . . . living in a culture of addictions, men are looking to
for ways to free themselves of what can be a life
altering force. The No.1 concern "pornography"
Knowing What We Believe . . . . . . with the onslaught of new teachings and opinions
that challenge Biblical positions, there's a desire
among our men to have some clarity on what the
Bible says and where we stand on certain issues
Being More Missional & Intentional . . . . . . . guys are interested in a conversation of
how we can be more relevant, missional
and intentional in sharing our faith - an
actual "How To" approach
Our commitment is to address these topics in the weeks and months ahead . . . . . .

What is an Audible?
"Calling an Audible" is a football expression.
The coach and players have a common goal - they have a game plan - there has been extensive preparation - they have studied the opposing team, and know their strengths and weaknesses. A play has been called - the team comes out of the huddle - they're in formation, ready to execute the play. In those next few seconds, the quarterback sees how the defense is lined-up - and in that moment, on this specific occasion, he decides to "change the play" . . . . . and calls an audible.
Why is he doing this? Why now? What happened to the game plan? Is our goal still the same?
"Yes" - the goal remains the same - the game plan hasn't changed - but, in that moment, the quarterback is responding to what he sees the opposing team doing and responds by calling a new play - in his judgment, a better play for this situation . . . . . this is maybe one of the most exciting moments in a football game, when the quarterback "calls an audible".
Never varying from our goal - or forgetting our game plan, the "Huddle Program" ( as a ministry that targets men ) is here to respond to what the enemy is doing, and if needs be, we'll be "calling an audible" - changing the play - introducing new thoughts and ideas - playing smarter - taking the team closer to our goal.
